No Dice On Florida Democrat Redo

How the president is electedHow our electoral process works?Florida’s Democrats voted NOT to conduct a PRIMARY VOTE REDO by mail or otherwise. That means the 210 Democrat delegates originally picked could stand. The January 29th vote had a record turnout, and Hillary Clinton won the state. The Democrat National Committee, chaired by former Vermont Governor Dean will have to decide what to do to prevent an explosion at the party’s convention in August at Denver, Colorado. Michigan Democrats are still arguing about what to do. Both state’s are being punished by the DNC for moving up their respective primary elections to Super Tuesday. If the delegates are counted Clinton gains but not enough to win the nomination.

  1. ‘Could stand’ - but most likely won’t be allocated as they are, though most likely the will be seated.

The whine of Clinton and Floridians is the height of arrogance and for Clinton - Hypocrisy.

A detailed study of the history of the issue will show that the rules were constructed after months of meetings by a commission of 40 ranking Democrats that was appointed by Terry McCauliffe in 2004. The commission met several times between March and December of 2005, inviting dozens of other ‘distinguished’ Democrats to opine. Nine of those commission members are now Clinton Superdelegates.

Then, in 2006, the Rules and Bylaws Committee, freshly appointed by Howard Dean and consisting of 28 members ironed out the rules as recommended by the aforementioned committee. The final rules were ratified by 450 activist Democrats from around the country.

In March of 2007, the Florida House voted 118-0 to move their date, knowing full well it ran against the rules. In fact, several Democrats there bragged about it to news sources. The Florida Senate affirmed it with a 37-2 vote. This puts a kibosh to any notion that the Republicans shoved it down their throats. Even as they voted they were made aware by the DNC of the potential consequence. Those Floridians who insist they are being denied their vote - they are not. They voted their representatives in, there are also more registered Democrats than Republicans in Florida. Therefore, they should have been getting more of their own kind elected before. This a representative democracy, a Republic… as they say.

When the rules committee met in summer of 2007 they offered Florida a chance to work it out. But Florida was arrogant and said ’stick it in your eye’. Apparently the Democratic party leaders their didn’t believe their predecessors who warned them to not try the national party.

Well, once she saw she was going to get hosed in SC, Hillary decides she is going to break the pledge she signed and - told several questioners on various campaign stops along the way, she would honor. This is how we got the issue re-raised with such tenacity. It is a false issue, but the MSM plays it out for their own good - or so it seems. Any judge could see the right and wrong on this one.

Just thought people oughta see the genesis and full truth in a snapshot so they can see they are being hoodwinked by the media BS on this.
