Richard Cochrane is trained in chemistry and metallurgy but is far more interested and practiced as a political and fund raising consultant, writer and amateur historian. He grew up in a Navy family and with his two younger brothers carried on its 500+ year tradition of naval service to Great Britain and the USA then enjoyed a career with one of the largest advertising and public relations agencies working with numerous Fortune 500 companies and many of America's premier educational institutions. He maintains friendships and acquaintanceships around the world. He lives in Santa Barbara, California.

HBO’s Bill Maher Says Pope a NAZI.

reason for godHBO’s not-so-funnyman Bill Maher called the POPE a one time NAZI and Catholicism a “cult” that promotes “organized pedophilia.” In May 2007 he compared communion to homosexual oral sodomy and called for turning homosexuality into a religion.

Maher has also called the Catholic Church the Bear Stearns of organized pedophilia — too big, too fat. There are 70 million American Catholics.

Maher is reported ready to apologize on his Friday evening broadcast. It is unclear what the consequences might be for HBO and his career.
