World Ends With A Whimper Not A Bang.
The National Policy Institute estimates what the world will look like in 2060 – about 50 years hence.
According to an article in Human Events authored by Pat Buchanan and published on May 2, 2008 in 1950 whites were 18% of the world’s population and Africans accounted for 9%. By 2060 the percentages will be about the same but the colors reversed. Two hundred million whites will vanish by then. Arabic people, counted among whites, will rise ten-fold to 743 million and account for 75% of whites.
Iran’s population will rise from 71 to 100 million. Pakistan will grow to 300 million from about 71 million today. Afghanistan will triple to 79 million and Iraq will leap from 29 to 62 million. In America Hispanics will triple to 127 million while Mexico will grow to 130 million.
Last October PEW RESEARCH asked 45,000 people in 47 countries what they thought and majorities in 46 countries expressed fear about loss of their national culture. Sixty-two percent of Americans said more must be done to protect “our way of life.” Three-fourths wanted stiffer immigration laws and restrictions. Asians, Africans and Middle Easterners appear, by simple weight of numbers appear to be poised to inherit the earth.
“This is the way the world ends, “wrote T. S. Eliot in his closing couplet of “The Hollow Men,” “Not with a bang but a whimper.” It begs the question of whose world to which he referred.

Obama’s Pastor Launches Resurrection Campaign.

Retired Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and Barack Obama’s 20-year pastor, said criticism of him was “unfair” and “devious,” and done by people who know nothing about his church. But, his comments have dragged Democrat Presidential nominee wannabe Obama into a storm raising questions about his judgment.
The criticism that Wright refers to was sparked by his proclaiming from the pulpit “God damn America” for its racism. He accused the government of flooding black neighborhoods with drugs and of creating the AIDS virus to kill blacks and branded the country as the KKK of America. Wright’s remarks are the subject of an interview on taxpayer funded PBS’s Bill Moyer’s Journal to be broadcast Friday evening.
Apparently Barack Obama’s pastor has launched a campaign to resurrect both their tattered images. Wright’s campaign to save the campaign for the Democrat Presidential nomination of Obama seems ill-advised and poorly considered because it will pull the lid off the issue of Obama’s 20-year relationship with Wright.
In a March 18 speech in Philadelphia, Obama described the history of injustice that fueled Wright’s comments, while also condemning his pastor’s statements and acknowledging white resentment of African-Americans. Asked his response to the senator’s speech, Wright said, “He’s a politician, I’m a pastor.”
Political commentators on Friday’s Good Morning America, that broke news and showed excerpts from the Moyer interview said Obama’s people must be “tearing their hair out” because of Wright’s campaign. That seems to be a fairly general consensus.
Wright is scheduled to speak Sunday at a Chicago NAACP Dinner and Monday at the National Press Club in Washington. Wright’s campaign comes as GOP Presidential nominee Senator John McCain is arguing with the North Carolina Republican Party over its ad excoriating Wright and Obama for his connection to him. The TV ad is scheduled to run Monday, ahead of the state’s crucial May 6 primary. A narrator in the spot says, “He’s just too extreme for North Carolina.” McCain has asked local officials not to run the ad, but the state GOP said no.
Wright’s Sunday Speech To NAACP To Be Carefully Watched.
The Detroit chapter of the NAACP is featuring Barack Obama’s longtime minister, Jeremiah Wright, as keynote speaker at its annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner this Sunday. It is billed as the largest annual sit-down dinner of African Americans in the country. At least 10,000 people are expected to hear the Rev. Wright speak.
The question on most lips is will Wright make his trademark denunciations of America as an oppressor of blacks and a creator of the AIDS virus to kill them off?
“When you take the t-e-x-t out of context, you’re left with c-o-n, and we have been conned,” Detroit branch NAACP President Wendell Anthony explained as he announced the dinner’s speaker at a news conference. If Wright shouts anything like, “Goddamn America,” the context will flow like sewage into Indiana, North Carolina and across the nation to Obama’s deficit. Stay tuned.

ANTI-AFFIRMATIVE ACTION MEASURES MOVING
ANTI-AFFIRMATIVE ACTION MEASURES MOVING: On the same ballot where they’ll find the name of either the first black or female major party presidential candidate, voters in five states may see a measure seeking to eliminate racial and gender preferences in public education, hiring and contracting. Signatures are being collected and submitted in COLORADO, ARIZONA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA and OKLAHOMA.
The initiative drives are being spearheaded by Ward Connerly, the conservative black Republican who has become the country’s most prominent affirmative action foe. “Without any doubt, we have to understand that race preferences are on the way out,” he said. Connerly maintains that the success of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton demonstrates that preferences are no longer needed to counter the effects of “institutional racism and institutional sexism.”
The five-state, anti-affirmative action push comes 16 months after MICHIGAN voters approved the Connerly-sponsored Proposition 2, ending preferences in the public sphere there. Tim Asher, a former college admissions officer, who is leading that initiative campaign, contends that a better way to achieve diversity is through programs that target disadvantaged people of all races.
State Department Fires 2 Workers for Inappropriately Looking at Barack Obama’s Passport File
Two contract employees for the State Department have been fired and a third disciplined for inappropriately looking at the passport file of Democratic Sen. Barack Obama’s passport file. Obama critics are demanding he release all information in his passport file asking what he is hiding.
Sowell Questions Obama’s Actions.
Thomas Sowell a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and a black man said Barack Obama “has been leading a double life like Eliot Spitzer.” Obama took the stage to try to disentangle from the horns of a race and religion dilemma he has fashioned for himself.
Sowell said, “While talking about bringing us together and deploring “divisive” actions, Senator Obama has for 20 years been a member of a church whose minister, Jeremiah Wright, has said that “God Bless America” should be replaced by “God damn America” — among many other wild and even obscene denunciations of American society, including blanket racist attacks on whites.”Sowell pointed out that, “The fact that Obama talks differently than Jeremiah Wright does not mean that his track record is different. Barack Obama’s voting record in the Senate is perfectly consistent with the far left ideology and the grievance culture, just as his wife’s statement that she was never proud of her country before is consistent with that ideology.” Sowell doesn’t believe Obama can explain away two decade of adherence to the church’s philosophy, and a long affiliation with Wright, not to mention a $20,000 donation so that voters will disconnect Wright’s philosophy and his and his wife’s own parallel acts and assertions despite any amount of theatrics and glibness. Sowell concludes, “…a black demagogue who has been exposed as a phony deserves exactly the same treatment as a white demagogue who has been exposed as a phony. We don’t need a President of the United States who got to the White House by talking one way, voting a very different way in the Senate, and who for 20 years followed a man whose words and deeds contradict Obama’s carefully crafted election year image.” – HYPOCRISY.
When the assassination of John F. Kennedy horrified a nation, Black Muslim Minister Malcolm X declared it payback for America’s violence in the world, a case of “chickens coming home to roost.” A similar statement to Rev Wright’s.
Obama Speech Only Starts Process - Many Issues Remain
Democratic Sen. Barack Obama on Tuesday tried to stem damage from divisive comments delivered by his pastor, while bluntly addressing anger between races. Barack Obama said he could not “disown” Rev. Jeremiah Wright any more than the black community or his white grandmother. He said “these people are part of me.”
Obama said Wright’s comments are over a frustration of what he called a stagnant society incapable of changing and said Wright was being made “caricatures being peddled by some commentators.”
He insisted that he dislikes divisiveness and does not support racism. Obama sought to explain why he continued to attend the church and his relationship with Rev. Wright.
Obama’s statement that “The fact that so many people are surprised to hear that anger in some of Reverend Wright’s sermons simply reminds us of the old truism that the most segregated hour in American life occurs on Sunday morning” was immediately passed over by most commenters but will be scrutinized.
Obama’s speech began but certainly did not lay to rest rising concerns about his judgment, forthrightness and core philosophy all of which are illuminating the question of whether or not he is fit to be President.
One in four U. S. teen girls have VD
One in every four teenage girls in U.S. has at least one of the most common venereal diseases, according to a recent study conducted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Based on the study, the authors conservatively estimate that 3.2 million American teenage girls are infected with VD. The authors say that the total number might actually a bit higher since venereal diseases like Syphilis, HIV and Gonorrhea were not included in the analysis. More than 3 million are infected. The incidence is highest among black American teen aged girls. The infection rate is higher in the U. S. than in Europe. The four common venereal diseases included in the study are human papillomavirus (HPV), chlamydia, genital herpes and trichomoniasis. The study was conducted among girls aged 14-19.
Dean Still Recovering From Melt-Down
I remember the melt-down of Howard Dean, past Governor of Vermont, during his bid to be president. He was screaming in-coherently, nearly foaming at the mouth. Apparently he hasn’t gotten over it.
Today he is being quoted from a speech he gave on Black History month at a university. He is quoted as saying, “that with a woman and an African-American as the two front-runners, the Democratic field “looks like America,” while the all-white male Republican field “looks like the 1950s and talks like the 1850s.”
Howard Dean, like
